Amplitude

Connect Attribution With Amplitude

Attribution reads your Amplitude events from an Amazon S3 export: you send Amplitude’s events to an S3 bucket you own, give Attribution access to it, and our team connects the import. It is for teams that already track their website with Amplitude and want Attribution to build its attribution model from the page views Amplitude records.

Benefits of Attribution and Amplitude Together

Events from an Amazon S3 Export

Point Amplitude’s Amazon S3 destination at a bucket in your AWS account and export every event; Amplitude writes a file about once an hour. Give Attribution read and write access to the bucket (the import marks each file it has loaded, so nothing is imported twice), then send the bucket name to our team, who configure the import and confirm once data appears in your project.

Page Views with URL and Referrer

Attribution builds its model from page views that carry a URL and a referrer. Most Amplitude installs already log such an event. If yours does not, log one on every page load, or at least on every landing page, on each domain you run ads to.

Multi-Touch Attribution on Your Amplitude Data

With your Amplitude visits in Attribution, see how every channel contributes at every touch point along your customer’s journey, credited by the attribution model you choose.

Go under the hood on attribution.

Out-of-the-box attribution models make it easy to connect to your advertising and conversion platforms. Measure LTV:CAC and CAC Payback instantly, without the need for a large data team.
